Tokyo, Japan 19th July 2012 - As part of its on-going expansion in Asia, Aston Martin grows its presence in Tokyo.
The Shintoyo Enterprises group will celebrate 50 years of operation in Japan by opening an enlarged Aston Martin showroom. The new facility, on two floors of the Shintoyo group head office located in Akasaka, the residential and commercial centre of Tokyo will display the full Aston Martin product range.
Andy Gawthorpe, Aston Martin’s Global Sales Director, was joined by HM Ambassador to Japan, Sir David Warren, to officially open the dedicated Aston Martin showroom.
Mr Shohachi Katayama, the President of Shintoyo Enterprises said: “We are confident that this new showroom will give us the platform for further growth with Aston Martin in the coming years.”
Dr Matthew Bennett, Asia Pacific Regional Director said. “Japan is one of our strongest markets in Asia and I am delighted with this new improved showroom from Shintoyo Akasaka.To be able to display the complete Aston Martin product range in the heart of Tokyo is a clear statement of our commitment to build the Aston Martin brand in Japan.”
Aston Martin currently has 23 dealers in the Asia Pacific region within a global dealer network of 143.
