
São Paulo, 31 August 2013 – Following the disqualification of car #61 from the GTE Am qualifying session of the FIA World Endurance Championship Six Hours of São Paulo, Aston Martin is on pole in both GT classes for tomorrow's race.
time in today’s qualifying session, less than a thousandth of a second off the lead #61 car. However, the pole sitter was later disqualified after failing scrutineering.
The result means that Aston Martin Racing will start both GT class from the front of the grid following an impressive qualifying session from Pedro Lamy (PT) and Richie Stanaway (NZ) who put the #98 Vantage GTE on pole in the GTE Pro class.
