Stuttgart, Frankfurt, October 21st 2015: Aston Martin is celebrating a victory in this year’s sport auto AWARD, presented by respected German automotive publication sport auto. The British sports car maker is celebrating a key class win, as well as podium places for a number of its models.
Voted entirely by readers of the renowned German title sport auto, the Rapide S wins category „limousines over 100,000 €”.
Meanwhile, the V8 Vantage N430 continues its series of international award success with a strong second spot in two categories, „convertibles and roadsters up to 150,000 €“, and „coupes up to 150,000 €”.
The magazine‘s award ceremony took place in Stuttgart on Monday evening. Marek Reichman, Chief Creative Officer of Aston Martin Lagonda said: „The Aston Martin Rapide S remains one the most popular high luxury sports cars here in Germany, consistently praised for its design, technology and craftsmanship. Inspired by our rich racing pedigree, N430 is the most dramatic expression of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage ever created. The sport auto AWARDs were held for the 23rd time, and saw readers pick their favourite cars from a selection of 230 models in 40 categories. More than 13,000 readers took part in this year’s vote.
