Munich, 16.09.2011 – TSV 1860 München has now joined with the British sports car manufacturer Aston Martin as its new main sponsor. Shareholder Hasan Ismaik initiated the partnership. It is the most lucrative main-sponsor contract that 1860 has signed since 2004. Aston Martin starts with a medium-term involvement. The contract is effective immediately. At the Löwen’s next match on 18 September 2011 against FSV Frankfurt, the 1860 players will already be wearing their new main sponsor’s logo on their strips.
For TSV 1860 München, the agreement is a further milestone in the club’s journey towards greater successes in the future. On joining the club, Hasan Ismaik announced that he would help 1860 get back on the path to success with a distinctive and prestigious main sponsor. With this partnership between the club and the car brand, both with long-standing traditions, a decisive first step in this direction has been taken.

The contract with TSV 1860 München is Aston Martin’s first engagement in German professional football, as well as its first sponsoring deal on this scale. The partnership between TSV 1860 München and Aston Martin was mediated by the marketing agency H.I.
